Some pictures from our Christmas days

We started on Christmas Eve in Hueytown and celebrated with Keith's parents and his brother with his wife and kids.  Here's the family showing off some of the toys they got.  Jennifer harassed Daniel about the age recommendations on his pogo stick: "You have to wait another year because that says you can't play with it until you're nine."  David and Maurine are in the background, and Caroline is holding her tetherball set.

Keith gave gift cards in plastic cups this year, and Daniel guessed what it was!  Here, Maurine is showing off her cup.

Jennifer has a clock at her house that is stuck in one spot.  That doesn't really work for helping us know what time it is.  So, Keith bought her a new clock, which she is showing off here.

One day last week, Keith came home telling Jennifer about the gifts he got other people.  He told her about a puzzle with a picture of a world map that he got for Daniel and Caroline.  "Jennifer, the pieces aren't interlocking because they are the shape of the countries!  And, the oceans have facts about the countries in them!  I might have to get one for myself after Christmas."  Little did Keith know that Jennifer already had the exact same puzzle for Keith.  The picture below is the face Keith had when he realized that he got his own puzzle to put together.

David and Lucy are hardly seen together, so this picture is a priceless one.

On Christmas Day, we celebrated with Jennifer's mom, brother, and her mom's boyfriend and long-time friend.  Here's a picture of the two of them.  Ed is being funny because Keith took out the camera.

Jay and Keith struck a pose, and Jennifer got this picture of them!

Jennifer's mom wanted to have pictures of us so she could send them to her sisters, so we took some group shots.  Here's a rare opportunity for Jennifer, Jay, and their mom.  It's been a long time since we were all together for Christmas.

Jennifer's mom and the kids and soon-to-be son-in-law.  We were all quite shocked to see how much work she did for our Christmas presents!

We used the timer on the camera to get the entire group in a picture.  It didn't turn out as well as we hoped, but we liked it.

Thanks to all of our families for welcoming us to Christmas traditions and celebrations.  We appreciate your hospitality, and we love all of the gifts you gave us.  We also enjoyed seeing your faces when you opened our gifts to you.

Finally, during our Christmas celebration, we see that our countdown here is down to double-digits!  We're excited about getting married, and we've already gotten some things that we can use together.

Glad you had a wonderful Christmas and can start some new traditions. I think the puzzle gifts are hillarious. I thought the description sounded familiar as I was reading the post! :) What are we going to do with you two?! (By the way, Jenn, that's a very bright smile that you have as you are showing off the clock! Why do I have a feeling it had nothing to do with the clock?! Sorry couldn't help but get my on harrassment time in!) Love ya! Lynne
